On the ground
Real people. Real moments.
Camps, winter outreach and festivals with children and residents — recorded by our own team, with dates wherever the photographs show them.
2 July 2024 · Shanti Dham Ashram
A visiting eye-care team held free eye tests at the ashram from 11 am to 4 pm. The camp banner also announced free cataract (motiyabind) operations for those found to need them; these are carried out by Dr Shroff’s Eye Hospital, Noida.
Medical & eye-care support
Delhi winters
When the temperature drops, the team goes out with hot food and blankets for people sleeping on the street, and brings those who need care back to the ashram.
Holi · March 2023
Children from neighbouring families join us for Holi and for study sessions under our banner “every child has the right to be educated”.
Celebrating strength
Every March, around International Women’s Day, we bring together women from the community — members, volunteers and guests — to honour their work and their strength.
Every photograph on this website was taken during the work of Shanti Jan Kalyan Sansthan.
