Our story
OurJourney
From humble beginnings to continued service.
Our work connects everyday care with a wider commitment to community well-being.

Our journey
Where our work began
For roughly the first three years, the team worked out of a Nasha Mukti Kendra building where part of the ceiling had collapsed and facilities were very limited.
This video was recorded there. The work with elders carried on all the same — and that persistence is what the ashram is built on today.
The banner on that building names the Sansthan’s “Nasha Mukti Paramarsh evam Punarvas Kendra” (de-addiction counselling and rehabilitation centre). That centre closed around 2024. Today we run awareness programmes against addiction; we do not offer counselling or treatment.

Our Shared Purpose
A journey rooted in service.
Shanti Jan Kalyan Sansthan (Regd.) is a social welfare organisation in Delhi. We run Shanti Dham Ashram for elders without family support, arrange medical help and eye-care camps, reach out to people on the street, and support women and underprivileged children through community events and study sessions.
For destitute elders, our ashram offers shelter, meals, yoga, meditation and medical facilities free of cost — because every person deserves to live with warmth, respect and dignity.
